Ellagic acid
Ellagic acid is a polyphenol with antioxidant properties. Plants produce ellagic acid as a defense against infection. Ellagic acid appears to be most effective in fighting skin, bladder, lung, esophagus and breast cancer.
Choose strawberries, grapes, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, pomegranate, guava, walnuts and walnuts. Many of them contain vitamin C, which only contributes to the protective properties. Remember that small quantities of walnuts are good for you. They are high in calories and easy to overeat. Too many nuts will not help you lose weight.
