Cancer is a terrible disease. Basically, something causes the cells in your body to grow abnormally. There are known causes of cancer: viruses, smoking, chemicals (such as asbestos), sunburn, and alcohol consumption.
Food contains cancer-fighting antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. If you eat them daily, you can protect yourself from cancer. If you are overweight, your risk of cancer increases. Losing weight through good nutrition also protects you.
Instead of one food in each group, we’ll look at the connections. If you don’t like a meal, there are others in this group. Many foods appear in different groups so you can count each calorie.
